The Last Word

God will have the last word, therefore we don*t need to have it. There are discussions (debates) that I sometimes have with unbelievers. When they insist on having the last word I let them. It means that they are not open to the gospel. I cannot open them up to the gospel but God can. He will ultimately have the last word with them. Both believers and unbelievers need to give God the last word here and now and forever. Actually, we should be giving Him the first word and all the words in between as well. We need to be humble and submissive before Him.

1 Peter 5:6: Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

James 4:7: Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Romans 14:11: For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

Some will bow to Him now and be blessed. Some will bow to Him when it will be too late to be blessed. He will have the last word.
